Swingadelic will salute legendary singer Frank Sinatra and arranger Nelson Riddle with a 70th anniversary celebration of “The Sounds of Sinatra with Sid Mark” at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, at the Palaia Theater in Ocean Grove. Sid launched Sunday with Sinatra in 1956 which grew to national syndication by the time the Philadelphia DJ died in 2022. Swingadelic will be joined by music historian Chuck Granata and NYU Film Professor Dana Polen. Emceed by Brian Mark, current host of “The Sounds of Sinatra,” the concert features the vocals of Zack Alexander with the band comprised of leader and bassist Dave Post, pianist Janice Friedman, trombonists Rob Edwards and Neal Pawley, trumpeters Miles Keingstein and Carlos Francis, saxophonists Ken Robinson, Michael Weisberger and John DiSanto and drummer Colby Inzer.
