KANDACE SPRINGS

Kandace Springs hails from Nashville, but she’s no country star. The jazzy R&B singer and pianist has risen from lounge singer to headliner. Her father introduced her to Nina Simone and Luther Vandross at young age and she paid attention. Kandace now serenades major concert hall and festival audiences around the world with her own brand of soulful contemporary jazz. Following guest appearances with the likes of Ghostface Killah and Black Violin, she released her debut full-length on Blue Note in 2016 and never looked back. A sold-out appearance at Carnegie Hall, her own PBS special, and an episode of Live at Daryl’s House were some of the highlights that have increased her visibility and popularity. Prince once said, “Kandace has a voice that could melt snow.” One doesn’t argue with the master. DJP
