ISAIAH J. THOMPSON QUARTET

Steinway Artist and composer Isaiah J. Thompson joined the John Pizzarelli Trio in 2019 and has performed with Christian McBride, Steve Turre, Catherine Russell, and Buster Williams. The award-winning pianist’s recording debut was featured on Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Handful of Keys (Blue Engine, 2017) album with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The artist aims to emit love, spirit and respect and convey his personal experiences and passion for the music through his artistry. In 2024, he joined the faculty of his alma mater, The Juilliard School. Performing with Isaiah will be Boyce Griffith on tenor saxophone, Eytan Schillinger-Hyman on upright bass and David Alvarez III on drums.  SBL
